I have read that there is a 5 year difference rule.
But i'm not sure if this 5 year difference refers to the AGE of the persons, or their BIRTHDAYS For instance.
Reaching the age of sexual consent does not give a minor the right to date whomever you want to despite parental disapproval.
But, as I said, if your parents are okay with it, then you're fine.
